Dear Sir,
Request for Permission to print in a book your Everest photo with your company name ‘mountain7.com’
I am going to publish a book in Hong Kong. The title is “A Cup of Chinese Wisdom”. It is written in English. There is a story about my trip to Kathmandu, where I bought a postcard of Mt Everest.
Printing in Hong Kong is very expensive and my publisher told me that I will lose money with my book. So I cannot afford to pay for expensive photos.
May I know if you own the copyright of the wallpaper (Mount Everest)?
If yes, I hope you will give me your permission to print it in my book. I will put your company name “Mountain7.com’ in my book as reference. The book will be sold in 100 bookstores in Hong Kong. I believe this will be excellent promotion for your company and your website.
I also climb mountains and have been to the summits of Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Elbrus. Perhaps I can join one of your trips in the near future.
